Create your own models within RaceModeller from observations or data, load Winning tides for the solent, on some versions load grib files for wind and tide and then analyse tactical options in a race venue before the event. Why limit your knowledge and experience when you can get ahead by running simulations of any conditions and situations?

PRE SAILING ANALYSIS
Spend time assessing or discussing options, learn why one route may pay. Use route statistics on some versions. Quantify the difference between routes to understand the importance of tactical options and identify key moments within the race. Run ‘what if’ scenarios to give more insight into tactical decisions.

Understand how to get the best out of your boat and why some tactical options may pay over others by analysing how your boat will perform given realistic conditions and race courses. On some versions, degrade performance targets by Sea state to see the effect on tactical options

View the predicted tide and wind. On some versions, slide through time to see whats coming, offset gribs by time or magnitude to match observations. On some versions, input mark locations by GPS location, pinging current location or range and bearing from a known location. Model a race just before the start or during a race to assess tactical options. On some versions, see your own location on screen with GPS enabled tablets/computers.
